2. General Information
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide and secure this website, respond to inquiries or – following your explicit consent – statistically analyze the use of the website.
Personal data means any information by which a person can be identified directly or indirectly. The relevant legal bases arise in particular from the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG).
This website currently does not offer user accounts, a contact form, a newsletter, an online shop, or payment or shipping functions.
3. Hosting and Server Logs
This website is hosted on a server operated by the following provider:
STRATO GmbH
Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7
10249 Berlin
Germany
When the website is accessed, technically necessary information is processed by the web server. This may include in particular:
- IP address of the accessing device,
- date and time of access,
- page or file accessed,
- amount of data transferred and access status,
- referrer URL,
- browser type and browser version,
- operating system.
This processing takes place in order to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, detect technical errors and prevent abusive access. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the secure and functional operation of this website.
Server logs are deleted as soon as they are no longer required for the security and operational purposes stated above. They are stored for a longer period only if a specific security incident needs to be investigated or statutory obligations require this.
Where STRATO processes data on our behalf, this is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.
Further information about data protection at STRATO is available at: https://www.strato.de/datenschutz/
4. Contact by Email or Telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide, in particular your contact details and the content of your inquiry, in order to handle your request.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry serves to initiate or perform a contractual relationship. In all other cases, processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in properly handling incoming inquiries. Where you have given your explicit consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.
The data transmitted when you contact us will be deleted as soon as your inquiry has been conclusively handled and no statutory retention obligations or other legitimate reasons for further storage apply.
5. Consent Management with Klaro!
We use the self-hosted consent management tool Klaro! to record and respect your decision regarding optional services.
Your selection is stored exclusively locally in your browser. Only the services to which you have consented or objected are recorded. The consent decision is not transmitted to the developers or providers of Klaro!. Klaro! is loaded entirely from our own server; no files are retrieved from external content delivery networks for this purpose.
This storage is technically necessary so that the website can respect your selection and does not have to ask you again every time you access a page. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG. Our legitimate interest in functional and verifiable consent management additionally arises from Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
You can change or withdraw your decision at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link that is permanently available in the footer. The withdrawal applies for the future and does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out up to that point.
6. Audience Measurement with Matomo
If you explicitly consent, we use the self-hosted open-source software Matomo to statistically analyze the use of our website. Matomo runs on our own server hosted by STRATO. The analytics data collected in this process is not transmitted to Matomo, InnoCraft or any other external analytics services.
Matomo is operated without cookies on this website. Matomo does not store any tracking cookies on your device. Tracking is activated only after you have consented in Klaro! to the optional “Matomo” statistics service. If you reject Matomo, no Matomo tracking is started.
As part of audience measurement, the following information in particular may be processed:
- shortened or anonymized IP address,
- date and time of access,
- pages visited and the order in which pages were accessed,
- time spent on the website,
- referrer URL,
- browser type and browser version,
- operating system and device type,
- approximate location based on the anonymized IP address.
The IP address is anonymized so that it is not stored in full in Matomo. We do not use a user ID and do not combine the analytics data with other datasets in order to personally identify individual visitors.
The purpose of the processing is to understand how the website is used and to improve its content, usability and technical quality. The sole legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Where access to information on your device is involved, this is based on your consent pursuant to Section 25(1) TDDDG.
The analytics data collected with Matomo is stored for 150 days and then deleted. No automated decision-making or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects takes place.
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future using “Cookie Settings” in the footer. Following withdrawal, Matomo will no longer be activated on subsequent page views.
Further general information about Matomo is available at: https://matomo.org/privacy-policy/
7. Links to Social Networks
Our website contains simple links to our profiles on Instagram, YouTube and X. No social media feeds, videos, buttons or other content from these platforms are embedded directly into the website. Therefore, merely visiting our website does not cause any data to be transmitted to the platform operators through these links.
Only when you click such a link do you leave our website and access the respective platform. From that point onward, the respective platform operator processes data under its own responsibility. If you are logged in there, the platform operator may be able to associate the visit with your user account.
Information about data processing by the platforms can be found in their privacy notices:
- Instagram / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited: https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy/
- YouTube / Google Ireland Limited: https://policies.google.com/privacy
- X: https://x.com/de/privacy
Independently of the links on this website, we operate our own profiles on these platforms. If you interact with us there, for example by commenting on a post or sending us a message, we process the data you provide in order to handle the respective interaction. Depending on the content, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR; where explicit consent has been given, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. In all other respects, the privacy notices of the respective platform operator apply to data processing on the platforms.
8. Mail Forwarding by Impressum-Privatschutz
For the address for service stated in the imprint and this Privacy Policy, we use the mail forwarding service provided by:
IMPRESSUM-PRIVATSCHUTZ GmbH

If you send us mail at this address, IMPRESSUM-PRIVATSCHUTZ GmbH processes the sender, recipient and shipment data required to receive and forward it. The processing takes place to ensure reliable delivery of mail addressed to us. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in using a secure address for service and reliably handling incoming mail.
Where the service provider processes personal data on our behalf, this is carried out on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

9. Recipients and Data Transfers
Personal data is disclosed only where this is necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, a statutory obligation applies, you have given your consent, or another legal basis permits the disclosure.
For hosting and mail forwarding, the respective service providers named above may be engaged as processors. Matomo and Klaro! are self-hosted; the data processed through them on our website is not transmitted to their developers.
When you click a link to Instagram, YouTube or X, the respective platform operators may also process data in countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area. We have no influence over this processing after you leave our website. Details can be found in the privacy notices of the respective platform.
10. Storage Period
Unless a specific storage period is stated in this Privacy Policy, we store personal data only for as long as it is required for the respective purpose. It is then deleted unless statutory retention obligations, the establishment or defense of legal claims, or other permissible reasons require a longer storage period.
A storage period of 150 days applies to Matomo.
11. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. The website is transmitted in encrypted form via HTTPS. Our security measures are reviewed and adapted in line with technological developments.
